A trio of actors are rumored to be joining the ever-expanding cast of Men in Black III.
That would be an interesting cast, though I don't think we've heard word of who or what the villain (or evil being they have to fight) will be in this one. Honestly I'd rather Gemma Arterton stay away from it. I just can't seem to find it in myself to like anything she's done.
I think it would be quite an interesting casting choice
Don't ever compare a good classic to a failed attempt of a Resistance knock off lol. I hated District 9 with a passion, why? Because it ruined all hope of a Resistance movie that would actually be good. They failed at making an interesting heart pounding thriller. Didn't like it at all.
As for Men In Black 3, I honestly can't wait. Will Smith is god, nuff said.
I don't think District 9 was supposed to be a thriller movie at all. It was more than just action, it was a story about a man who had to face some serious changes (not just physical but in his attitude as well) to become a better person. I don't think they'll do a Resistance movie unfortunately. There are too many other alien invasion movies out there and coming out. It would be bad ass but I can't see it happening. I too am looking forward to MIB 3. I think they can still pull in some magic.
I really enjoyed the D9 movie, its not the kind of style I would want from a Resistance movie tho.
I just hated it, got boring and from a film makers perspective they had tons and tons of mistakes that they shouldn't have been able to get away with.
It wasn't creative or anything to me because like I said they ripped off all the story elements from elsewhere, mostly Resistance. Like if you gave me a sheet of paper I could tell you exactly what every single part came from, it almost goes hand in hand with Resistance with a little twist to make it not a rip off.
Dude D9 was one of the best movies of 2009.
