Marshall Heinberg, Mary George and John Hyde have joined Image Entertainment's board of directors.
The Chatsworth, Ca.-based company has extended the maturing date of its revolving credit facility with Wells Fargo Capital Finance to July 31, 2011.
Heinberg serves as the head of the investment banking department and is a senior managing director of Oppenheimer & Co. George currently serves as vice chairman of Bell Automotive Products. Hyde is a consultant to and vice chairman of Image.

Image Entertainment has picked up all U.S. rights to action feature Drive Hard starring John Cusack and Thomas Jane from Voltage Pictures.
The feature, from Aussie director Brian Trenchard-Smith, just finished production in Australia and Image is planning a theatrical release for 2014.

While most buyers at Toronto are paying close attention to the World Premiere midnight screening of Ambush Entertainment's Super, the producer/financier has just closed a U.S. distribution deal on another title. Image Entertainment has acquired U.S. distribution rights to Every Day, the Richard Levine-directed drama that stars Helen Hunt, Liev Schreiber, Brian Dennehy and Carla Gugino. The film, which made its debut at the Tribeca Film Festival followed by a stop in Deauville, will be released theatrically in January by Image Entertainment, which will also handle DVD and digital in the spring.
