Speaking to Melbourne’s Play yesterday, Sir Ian McKellen says he had expected to start work on the first of the two Hobbit movies a few weeks ago.
“That should have started in April but they didn’t contact me about a contract until a few weeks ago and we’re in negotiation”, the actor, who’d be reprising his Lord of the Rings‘ role Gandalf for the film, said.
With the new The Crow remake coming soon, we take a look back at the 30-year-old cult classic original–and where the stars are now.
Kaam Chalu Hai Review: Based on true events, this movie is thought-provoking and inspiring
Rebel Moon Part 2 Review: This movie doesn't feel anything new or worth remembering, which is a shame.
They're going to have to start shooting soon, or McKellen is going to be too dang old to play the role! They already aren't getting Christopher Lee back because he says he's too old to travel that far anymore. I hope they start working soon.
