I actually really liked the prequels a lot, but that's just me. to each their own though. I think a new fondness has come re: the prequels though after the garbage that is the ST.

The clone wars really help explain the setting and how the events in revenge turned out the way they did. My main issue at the time is how many of the jedi deaths when order 66 was executed, were just laughably convenient/quick, especially palpatine killing 3 jedi masters in a few seconds.

Never have I cared less about Star Wars..thanks Disney. You know it's a shit show when a single fan makes a short film called "Vader: Shards of The Past," and it dwarfs anything a multi billion dollar company has put out.

Yeah but this is disney and KK. I wouldn't doubt it. And it's clearly Leia giving Rey Han's medal from ANH in the trailer. I think it's a distinct posibility.

Wouldn't make any sense. Han is not a Skywalker, nor can he use the force. Now if it were called rise of the Solo you might be onto something. If Rey couldn't use the force, that is.

Oh hell why not the franchise is already a walking dead, just Lucasfilm has yet to get the memo. They already destroyed the established lore of star wars, killed off the old cast, the new cast is bland and not likeable. Both the rebellion and the first order act more like a snl parody version of the original rebel alliance and empire than a legitimate military faction. Both sides are beyond incompetent, short of the new season of clone wars, everything else star wars related is a hard pass. Star wars news has become okay whatever to me now.
