I don't watch GoT, but with what the standards are for sexism by the professionally offended is these days, I doubt this is anything substantial.

I wouldn't call it sexism. I would just call it poor writing. This whole final season has been about hitting all the bullet points on the checklist. Reveal Jon is Aegon, check, have Theon redeem himself by laying his life on the line for the Stark family, check, have Jon kill the night king, well that was a miss, but close enough, Arya and Gendry hook up, check, Brienne and Jaime hook up, check. And that's what bothers me the most more than anything. So much of it has been easily predictable. Most of us have already concluded that Arya will end up killing Cersei, and we also know there's a Cleganebowl coming. We all know Qyburn is gonna die a gruesome death. We all know Euron Greyjoy is gonna take it deep. The only thing we haven't been able to predict is Arya killing the Night King... and everyone hates the fact that it wasn't Jon, which would've made it even more predictable lol. Now we all know Danny won't make it to the iron throne, but I knew this back in season 3 when she went into the House of the Undying and reached for the throne in the "premonition," she came close to touching it but didn't. So now the writers are making sure they hit that bullet point. It's just dumb and lazy writing. Definitely not sexist.

That's a hot take. She mentions she had adoration across the sea but not in Westeros where Jon has been building his reputation amd gaining loyalties. It's not sexism, it's drama and politics.for all she has done to help the people of westeros don't know her at all and perhaps her own vision of herself and the salvation she would bring was a little short sighted in expecting the people of another land to just accept her as their ruler.

If the roles were flipped an we saw Jon cross the sea to help Danny then expect to become a king we would see the same reaction. I know she has a claim to the throne but allegiances have been made and bonded over the course of 8 seasons.

It is sexist against men.

This season in general shows how bad the writers really are, without the books to guide them.
None of the characters are behaving as they have been established for the past 9 years.
No one of importance died in the long night because if plot armor.
Every cliché in the book is being done.
There are fake, forced confrontations and problems being created.

Sexism is probably the most irrelevant issue of this season
