The second episode of The Gifted kept the momentum going from the great first episode. The show is tackling the mutant metaphor from all angles while developing not only the engaging characters but this alternate X-Men universe itself. This episode was a standout for Acker’s Kate and gave her an interesting relationship with Marcos, which is sure to complicate matters once Reed comes back around. Which will suck for the Strucker family but will likely make for some solid television.
