The sun rises over Broke Jaw Ranch and the surrounding areas. One man stumbles aimlessly through streets. He looks like an infected but it's Daniel Dalazar, having survived the fire at the Abigail Estate, and barely clinging to his life. He's searching for water with little luck. He ends up hiding behind a truck while a pack of infected passes by. One, however, sees him and starts following him up a hill. He tries to hide from it but it grabs his shoe until a dog barks and calls her off. Daniel lays down, laughing.
