FGE - Back in 2011 before the recent resurgence of the video game movie genre had even poked its head out of obsurity to deliver movie adaptations for Ratchet and Clank, Warcraft and Hitman, European triple AAA developer Ubisoft set to work on developing their own motion picture studio to encapsulate the feel of their beloved video game franchises. Eight feature length films were planned from the get-go. With industry veterans at the helm, these movie marvels would include Splinter Cell starring British bane actor Tom Hardy. A Minions-esque feature film entitled Rabbids,  based off their iconic raving Rabbids brand, started its infancy alongside the household name Rayman, Ghost Recon, Far Cry and finally to their new, less established franchise like Tom Clancy’s The Division. It was fair to say that Ubisoft was committed to this new venture and today we get to see what their commitments look like on the silver screen.
