NOLA: If we're being honest, though, a certain amount of exploitation is unavoidable. Berg is, after all, a Hollywood filmmaker, crafting a multi-million-dollar, wide release film under the auspices of a for-profit movie studio. Unless the Lionsgate-owned Summit Entertainment donates all the proceeds from the film to charity, right down to the very last picayune, they can be fairly accused of benefitting from the tragedy -- and, by extension, of exploiting it.
