Suicide Squad starts off as a great film that offers spectacular fan service to those who love DC, while also being strong enough to entertain those who are unfamiliar with comic book villains. However, as the film goes on and the action kicks off, it loses it’s steam. What starts as an excellent comic book movie soon looses it’s charm and boldness, turning into a sub-par action flick with nothing special to keep it’s audience interested. If you’re a loyal fan of DC, you’ll be able to appreciate the first half of the film. Other than that, you’re not really missing out on anything.
