EB: In the latest Star Wars-centric Buddha-cast Nick C. and I lament over the Rogue One reshoot rumors and what they could possibly mean for the film. We both agree that needing more levity and fun in a Star Wars war movie sounds dumb, and that the Disney Executives may be trying to get too cute with Rogue One’s final cut. We both feel that the film should feature a darker tone, because it is a war movie, and we all pretty much know that the mission will be of the suicide variety to secure the Death Star plans, so how much levity can you really infuse in there. We also speculated that some of the changes may be made in Vader’s scenes, which have been teased as epic and brutal, and based on another report from yesterday, we may have been right in thinking about changes to how Vader is portrayed in Rogue One.
