FGE - The X-men franchise of films has without doubt provided some of the most interesting and complex themes within the superhero genre since its first movie released just over 15 years ago now. It’s presented audiences with debates about racism, genocide and segregation, all explored subtly whilst still managing to provide fun to watch stories and set pieces that successfully display and celebrate the wide selection of superhero power sets on screen. It’s for reasons such as this that I’m sorry to report that X-men: Apocalypse, being the latest instalment sets the series back a few notches, providing a lacklustre story that leaves a lot to be desired, never managing to successfully capitalise on the rebooted universe Days of Future Past was able to establish so well.
With the new The Crow remake coming soon, we take a look back at the 30-year-old cult classic original–and where the stars are now.
Kaam Chalu Hai Review: Based on true events, this movie is thought-provoking and inspiring
Rebel Moon Part 2 Review: This movie doesn't feel anything new or worth remembering, which is a shame.
