Ubisoft has released a new image from Assassin's Creed featuring Michael Fassbender (X-Men: Apocalypse) held in captivity as present day character Callum Lynch. The movie is going to pick up with him after he discovers that he’s a descendant of the secret Assassins society through unlocked genetic memories that allow him to relive the adventures of his ancestor, Aguilar, in 15th Century Spain.

Kaam Chalu Hai Review: Based on true events, this movie is thought-provoking and inspiring
Finally, maybe a video game movie we can believe in.
I'm placing my best on Fassbender, 100%.
I'm betting he would not be attached to something horrible. The man is a method actor and I just can't see him wasting time and effort on a soulless project.
Should have been a TV Show. Makes sense. 10 episodes a season. Mixing past and present day like the games.
season 1 - Altair
Season 2 - Ezio
Season 3 - Altair/Ezio (brotherhood through to revleation, maybe an extended season)
Season 4 - Connor
this is where i draw a blank though as the game series takes a terrible turn, maybe a 5th season to end on and maybe its related to kenway to connect 4 to 5, but would need a definitive finish. But i think people would be into the first two seasons (like the games) slowly loose viewer around season 3/4
Netflix and Amazon have missed out here in my opinion. A film will struggle to fit all the important information into 2 maybe 2 and a half hours so they will cut corners. A TV show would have built all this up over time.
As good as Fassbender is, I'm not getting my hopes up. This will most likely follow the Prince Of Persia movie path, where you want to like it so badly but its too damn average.
I know fassbender will deliver. And hopefully the director and the writers will do their part as well.
