I love a good rom-com. I really, really do. When I heard that Bridget Jones was having a baby, I said to myself, “Well this might be interesting.” As a fan of parts one and two, I was initially excited to see where my favorite hot mess of a character has ended up a decade later. However, upon reading the premise of the film, it seems after we thought she finally found her happily ever after and got her life together, she’s back to square one. Single, pregnant, and doesn’t know who the father is. Sounds like an episode of Maury to me. Don’t get me wrong, I’m a huge fan. However, I’ve got to say that I’m a little disappointed in the direction of the film and here’s why.
