Box Office: The Martian Holds Onto First During Lowest Grossing Weekend Of 2015

CB: Last week, The Martian reclaimed first-place at the North American box office and this week it held on for its fourth victory in five weeks. 20th Century Fox's space drama grossed $11.4 this weekend and now has a domestic total of $182.8M. That's just $5M shy of director Ridley Scott's domestic record of $187.7M set in 2000 with Gladiator.

Nothing huge, but a Bradley Cooper film only doing 5 mil is surprisng, plus i thought the scouts guide zombie film would've done better.

No wonder. The Martian is an awesome movie that's got great word of mouth and last week totally sucked for new releases. I actually stayed home for the first time in a long while.
