Cabin In The Woods 2 Exclusive: The Studio Wants To Do It

There's an implied spoiler for Cabin in the Woods in this piece. Not that we give anything away, mind.

Drew Goddard is currently on the promotional tour for The Martian, the movie that he's penned the screenplay for (based on Andy Weir's book) and was at one time set to direct. Sir Ridley Scott has since helmed the movie but he worked with Goddard on bringing The Martian to the screen.

A prequel to how it all started would be good. I kinda liked the 1st. Weird, cheesey, cliche but still slightly different from the norm. The ending was just like WTF lol

Some of the monsters were pretty cool too.

Thing is if it was a prequel it would suck knowing that even if a character survives it's all for nothing as we know what happens at the end of the first film.

Depends on the original movies ending

Like this one. The world ends at the end of the first movie so even if a character or two survives the prequel it kind of feels pointless as they die anyway once the world ends.
