Amen! The only thing they're owed is a good franchise from the new managers of it, but not from the one who started it all. And for all that is holy, George Lucas brought us Star Wars toys, video games and plenty of other merchandising. Who else has done as much with their work? If he owed fans something, he's paid his debt a thousand times over.

And I'm also sick of the complaining around the Prequel Trilogy. Everyone acts like the movies were complete B-movie trash and dismally produced. Yet everyone went to see each one. And my God, people need to get over Jar Jar Binks (which I believe Samuel L. Jackson once said as well). Kids loved the character and he brought a little humor. You don't need to crucify the franchise over one single alien. The universe is vast. There are bound to be individuals you don't like. Let it go.

Totally in agreement with you there. These days, hating on the Prequels is more popular than blowjobs. People talk shit about it, just because that's what expected.
