If a picture is worth a thousand words, then 15 seconds of new Star Wars: The Force Awakens footage (or, really, about 3 seconds of new footage and 12 that we've already seen) is worth millions of voices crying out (but they won't be suddenly silenced). Here's the clip again, if you haven't already watched it 100 times:
With the new The Crow remake coming soon, we take a look back at the 30-year-old cult classic original–and where the stars are now.
Kaam Chalu Hai Review: Based on true events, this movie is thought-provoking and inspiring
Rebel Moon Part 2 Review: This movie doesn't feel anything new or worth remembering, which is a shame.
Uugghh they HAD to mention that the protagonist is black... So what? Mace Windu was black, not a protagonist but an awesome character... What is important is that the characters are well written and acted! Not their race, sex or whatever -.-
I agree and that'd be nice one day. But I am against making these old superheros that were always white now black, asian or hispanic. Especially if it's just to appease a group stirring the racist pot. Let's make new superheros and characters for the races left out of the comic books. Stan Lee isn't dead yet.
how is being african american a major step forward for the franchise? Did people forget about Mace Windu, Lando or are the people who make these claim just started watching star wars because it cool now.
I can't see anybody complaining about it. I see people complaining about people complaining about it but I can't seem to find the protesters...
You can make any originally black character white, or make a whole cast white, but as soon as their is a black protagonist or a black fantastic four character "eww stop being racist". -_-
