We want Blade done from the start, not his daughter just so they can force a female Marvel hero onto his by using a popular franchise name
If they want more female films do She-Hulk, Black Widow, Wasp or Lilith.
Who is Lilith you may ask oh only Draculas daughter...yeah a female VAMPIRE. Blade could make an appearance and they could either a series or film with him in.

There's only one blade and that's Wesley snipes...
I really hope this is a terrible rumor. I kind of hope they do something with blade on tv like punisher or something.
Mainly because then snipes could return. I don't think they would bank on Wesley Snipes doing another movie, let alone another trilogy. Understandably they would prob want to recast younger. But at the same time, Snipes is as much Blade, as Jackman is wolverine, Downey Jr. is iron man.
The inevitable recast with never beat the original in some cases.
