Cary Fukunaga is out as the director of New Line’s adaptation of Stephen King‘s “It,” which will not move forward as planned this summer, multiple individuals familiar with the situation have told TheWrap.

I can't believe they were going to get Ben Mendelsohn, that would of been a fantastic choice. Way better then bloody Will Poulter...which now is kind of confirmed they only got because he was cheap.

I'm glad he left if he wasn't allowed to have what he wanted to make his vision for the film. No point slaving over something if your vision has been cut to pieces in the end.
