Ian McKellen takes on the role of Sherlock Holmes in the Bill Condon directed movie about the aging detective trying to figure out the unsolved case that forced him into retirement while wrestling with his decline of his intellectual faculties. It's a movie that we really liked at the Berlin Film Festival, with our critic finding much to admire in the underlying theme of "whether to go gentle, or whether to rage against the dying of the light."
