Justin Lin, mainly known for his horror films Dead Silence, Insidious, The Conjuring, fits in nicely into the action scene and further cemented himself into my list of favorite directors. These movies life and die by the cast. It’s the family the cast has built that keeps these moving that and the amazing action and this movie has some amazing action scenes. Whether they’re dropping their cars out of an airplane or crashing a $4 million car through towers in Abu Daubi, every action scene is fresh, inventive, and amazing. Then you have the issue with Paul Walker dying during filming and it’s clear it his death affected production, and they give him a send off that is sure to make grown men cry in the theater.
