Life in the spotlight to one side for a moment, it must be pretty easy being a Hollywood director. No matter what cinematic sins you’ve committed in your career, so long as you can prove to a studio that you’ve got some sort of track record in making them money, they’ll give you another go behind the camera. As such, Hollywood is currently littered with big-name directors still getting work for no other reason than they managed to make a few box office successes in an entirely different decade.
Ashley Madison-Sex Lies and Scandal Review: The documentary refuses to take a stand on whether or not it wants us to feel bad for cheaters, infuriating viewers with its wishy washy attitude.
Outer Range Season 2 Review: This season is as insane and slow as the last part and doesn't attempt to answer any questions, while adding on to those of the last one.
Monster Review: While this film delivers elements of horror and thriller, they're only sporadically effective, leaving the overall experience falling short of expectations.
I wholeheartedly disagree with Guillermo del Toro being on this list! Pacific Rim was so much fun!
