Saw this like 20 minutes ago but assumed Crazay had already posted it. Lol :P

I saw it on another site like 20 minutes ago and I didn't believe it. Only when I saw it on Marvel's site was I like 'This is really happening.' haha

The way he avoided the questions pretty much guaranteed he got the role.

And who disagreed with my comment? How could you even disagree with that? What a dick. Lol

Derekvinyard133430d ago

This should be interesting, havent seen anything he's in that was bad at all he was great in Star Trek

Fantastic choice

Marvel does it again....while DC....Will Smith lol

Porcelain_Chicken3430d ago

DC does it again! They get Oscar winning Jared Leto while Marvel gets Micheal B. Jordan hurr hurr!

See how it isn't hard to cherry pick actors? Give it up already man! And pick up your pants, your fanboy bias is showing.

-Foxtrot3430d ago (Edited 3430d ago )

Marvel gets Michael B Jordan?

Urm...no they don't

Don't really know who owns who do you? Nice try though. Next time research or it's going to make you look silly.

"fanboy bias"

HA...it's fanboy bias because I think one side is casting better then the other. Really? I guess those boxes of DC comics in the corner of my room are just there so I could build up something to burn.

Jeez

(sigh)

Completely agree with all your comments on this post man. :D He tends to bag on at least something in every comment he makes. Even if it has nothing to do with the post he's commenting on! Lol

Uh oh! 20th Century Fox owns Fantastic Four! What a buuuuurn! Kinda dodged the point there bud.

And yeah you claim to be a huge fan of DC comics. Yet EVERY bit of news and development surrounding the new DCCU has been met with cynicism and pessimism from you! Every single bit! You complained how you didn't know jack about Ray Fisher and how he didn't have the Cyborg type body yet boasted Marvel's perfect Black Panther casting when you admitted you had no idea who Chadwick Boseman was! You say Gal is a horrible choice due to being too skinny yet somehow thought skinny Hemsworth was a good choice from the get-go!? At one point you even said you knew Clark Gregg was perfectly cast as Phil Coulson. A character completely made up for the movies and unknown to the public before Iron man 2. Not even a tinsy winsy bias there?

Also what exactly is your beef with Will Smith? He was great or even phenomenal in 7 Pounds, The Pursuit Of Happyness, I Am Legend, The Legend of Bagger Vance, Winter's Tale, Ali, I Robot, Enemy of the State, and Six degrees of Seperation. Hell he was even in a Marvel flick. (And before you dodge this entire paragraph with "but... but.. but.. Men in Black is Sony!"). I know. They thought he was good enough. Is there a solid reason as to why he's a laughable choice over Cumberbatch besides yelling "BLACK!" over and over again? Or is that all?

I think Benedict would make a better Riddler than Strange. Johnny Depp looks better for Strange. Benedict is a great actor and being younger means he can play more Strange movies.

PizzaSteve3430d ago

I don't know how I feel about a Dr. Strange movie. I feel like it could be the next Dare Devil. Congrats to Benedict for getting the role.

I'm loving the Marvel vs DC arms race that's happening. every time we hear news from one camp, the other one rushes in with their own. hopefully this means better quality of the films they're putting out as well, and not just the quantity
