The Harry Potter universe is ridiculously expansive, with J.K. Rowling’s books spawning an entire world hidden within our own. It’s proven so narratively detailed (and, of course, popular) that audiences are going to be treated to a cinematic trilogy inspired by the fictitious author of a schoolbook Harry used once in a couple of classes. James Cameron and Peter Jackson are green with envy at her relentless world-building.
In Escape From Pretoria, Daniel Radcliffe plays Tim Jenkin, a real-life political prisoner who orchestrated a prison escape from Pretoria Central Prison in 1979, during the apartheid era in South Africa. It's another off-beat role in the eclectic post-Harry Potter career, which has seen Radcliffe take on a low-key public persona, with characters you wouldn't expect from the leading man of a billion-dollar franchise.

The Harry Potter fandom has always revolved around the creation of incredibly detailed fan theories. Back when the books were still coming out, everyone was desperate to be the one to figure out what J.K. was going to do next, to dig through all of the released novels and try and find evidence of foreshadowing that would give the whole game away.
It's a crying shame that Half-Blood Prince's "En Noctum" never made the final cut. So hauntingly beautiful.
