Dawn of the Planet of the Apes Review - Inner Geek

Rise of the Planet of the Apes was a surprise success. From the total failure of the Tim Burton reboot, there was not much hope for the 2011 movie, however, it managed to shock everyone and director Rupert Wyatt breathed life back into the franchise, paving the way for its assured sequel: Dawn of the Planet of the Apes. Before even watching the film I had a feeling it would be in my top five of the year, but I wasn’t expecting it to be my number one.
