Yahoo!: Gary Oldman – who played Commissioner Gordon in Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy, is skeptical about the upcoming incarnation of the Caped Crusader that will show up in ‘Batman Vs. Superman: Dawn Of Justice’.
The thing about Nolan's batman though is that he wasn't actually batman. didn't show off his martial arts prowess. didn't show off his keen mind for solving crimes. didn't show him being 10 steps ahead of everyone else. didn't show him utilizing gadgets during fights. didn't show his stealth (outside of batman begins' dock scene).
Nolan's batman could have been anyone in a batsuit throwing haymakers.
Someone claims that a bunch of things aren't in a movie that are and I rebuke them. You, in turn, suggest that I'm a raving Nolan fan. Makes sense.
I liked Keaton's Batman. He was my favorite. But I also really liked the Dark Knight movies.
But Adam West, a better Batman? That stuff is good for a laugh and nothing more. The ridiculous leaps in solving riddles, the cheesy characters, the "POW" style action...it's a riot.
Lol you are so wrong. He does all of those things. Maybe next time you watch a movie pay attention and don't get too stuck in to bright colours and shinny things yeah?
