So, by now you'll most likely have seen the final episode of Game of Thrones' fourth season. Which means a) we all now have to wait almost a year for more Westerosi intrigue, violence and gratuitous scenes set in brothels, and b) we now know that a certain character didn't appear.

What a bullshit excuse...she's not important to the story, she kills one character and almost kills another. She's totally important, she's a big "WTF" moment.
She's a reminded of what happened during the red wedding
How can they say she's not important....yeah and I bet Cold Hands wasn't important either.
Honestly they are trying to cut corners because they only have 10 episodes a season, I really think HBO should give a season more episodes if the writers really need them. It's a very popular show with a huge audience and ratings, one or two more episodes wouldn't hurt.
Outside of the "character" not appearing, is there anything else they missed out? Fed up of having people spoiling the tv series for me so I plan on starting to read the books and will begin with book 5. Don't want to go into the book while missing anything out. Feel free to PM me any spoilers that were missed from season 4 that were in book 4.
I think the exclusion of Coldhands was the real tragedy this season.
