The ever-hilarious gang from the Bad Lip Reading YouTube Channel have made Twilight somehow more tolerable. By lending their impeccable voice-over skills to scenes from Twilight, the angst of the film is presented in a gut busting manner.
Daily Video Game writes: "Amazon is offering 67% off on Twilight Saga movie Blu-ray sets right now! If you're a fan of these Twilight Saga movies, make sure to take advantage of these deals now!"
You know the trend: It started with Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Potterheads were excited and confused to hear that the final movie of the series would be split in to two parts. It hadn’t really been done before (unless you count Kill Bill Volumes 1&2), and nobody really knew what to expect. Little did we know, this trend wasn’t going away anytime soon. It seems that the industry has decided that any film based on a book required more than one movie.
it really depends how big the book is, if the book is a good 700+ pages then i think it should be split into two parts! which in turn please all the books original fans and not leave anything out.
look what happened to HP Order of the phoenix, the movie was a mess, because there was like 800 pages if i remember correctly, and it didnt really work when they tried bringing it to the big screen.
EW:
Make no mistake: It’s not that Joss Whedon doesn’t like The Empire Strikes Back. When recently asked a question about doing a sequel to one of his own works, he cited the fan-favorite entry in the Star Wars saga along with The Godfather Part II as sequels that got it right. But The Avengers writer-director does have an issue with Empire‘s ending – or its lack of one, to be exact.
“Empire committed the cardinal sin of not actually ending,” Whedon noted during his 10-page deep-dive interview with Entertainment Weekly in this week’s issue. “Which at the time I was appalled by and I still think it was a terrible idea.”
To which your EW interviewer blurted: “You think Empire had a bad ending?”
That was one of the things that made Episode V so great. It took that chance and delivered upon it.
I love this man and he always thinks so much like I do about so many things. Total faith in him when it comes to his projects too.
