CBM

An image has just popped online that is supposedly the logo for J.J. Abrams Star Wars: Episode VII. Is it real or is it fake? At this time I'm not sure. Check it out.

They'll probably use that as some sort of marketing thing before the actual full title is released. But honestly it looks stupid and probably fake.

I was thinking the same thing, this is probably jsut some dumb PR focus group marketing thing that someone who has no investment or personal love for the saga and being so out of touch they think "Oh yeah, 1337 speak is still cool with the kids right? Lets change the T to a 7. Everyone will be so impressed".

If it is real I like to think, or at least I find it amusing to think, that it went down like this.

"Are you sure we should do this to the logo? Even just as a marketing thing? Maybe we should leak it online first, guage peoples reactions, if its nuclear fallout we'll just change it back and pass this image off as a fan made fake."

Honestly if I was in that situation, I'd probably leak things im unsure about online all the time and deny if they're real or not depending on the online reaction, so as to avoid persecution come release day :P

Using 7 for T was cool for like 3-4 weeks about 6-7 years ago.

That is how "behind" the times, they are.

That is how " out of touch" they are.

That seems like they are trying to hard, but realistically, I care more about the movie than the dumb title.

i always wonder why when these leaked photos always look off for?

I like it. Subtle but effective.

RetrospectRealm3694d ago

Looks stupid. Doesn't even make sense to switch the T out for a 7.

ironfist923693d ago

gee, i dunno, maybe because it looks like a T?

ironfist923693d ago

yeah...you should get your eyes checked..."bro"

Its fugly, and in today's marketing world that makes it real.
