Entertainment Buddha's Matt Heywood writes, "José Padilha’s RoboCop reboot was put under the microscope the moment it was announced. Fans and critics of the original RoboCop didn’t want any part of it, and considered the project to be a sacrilegious endeavor. The jeers from longtime RoboCop fans only intensified when the first round of leaked set videos and images featured RoboCop in a non-traditional black suit. It’s safe to say that RoboCop 2014 was behind the 8-ball before it even released, and I too had concerns about it, namely it’s PG-13 rating, because we all know you can’t have a RoboCop movie without some over-the-top violence.
Regardless of the bad press and low hype factor, I still did my duty as a geek and watched the new RoboCop. I’m glad I did give this movie a chance, because it’s actually really entertaining, and the new approach to the character works quite well."
"If you are already a fan of this franchise, this is a very good option this weekend at the cinema. It's well made, the actors are great and the story/world setting is very interesting." - Bryan (Resident Entertainment)
Ashley Madison-Sex Lies and Scandal Review: The documentary refuses to take a stand on whether or not it wants us to feel bad for cheaters, infuriating viewers with its wishy washy attitude.
Monster Review: While this film delivers elements of horror and thriller, they're only sporadically effective, leaving the overall experience falling short of expectations.
