Indiana Jones 5 Looks To Be In Motion Sooner Than Expected

A 5th Indiana Jones film may well be in productions sooner than expected. They cite a recent agreement between Disney and Paramount and an interesting tweet from Producer Frank Marshall as proof that Indy may be back soon.

I would not like to see another Indiana Jones, considering how weak the story of the last film was. Yet, I would watch it, would it be created. I just feel that they should put the franchise to sleep.

Honestly, I hated Temple of Doom, and thought it was a super weak story, but I'm glad they kept going because The Last Crusade was amazing. Perhaps we can get lucky like that again.

Ford apparently insisted that it happen in order to sign on for more Star Wars films.

well then im kind of relieved thats the case, gotta have han solo in the starwars sequals

I agree. what we heard is that aside from agreeing on Money, Ford wanted to see the storyline for Solo in the upcoming films. This makes sense as he has long said he had no interest in playing Solo again and even wanted Lucas to kill him off in Jedi.

He has new kids I believe and he has said of appearing in Expendables 3 hey, I have kids to put through college. while he is worth alot, he had one of the most expensive divorces in Hollywood from his wife so you can see how he wants money for the Golden Years and the kids.

Anyway, I am told that after money was agreed to he wanted to see the story plan for Solo and said that he wants another Indy film.

I was told that while they had nothing firm, they told him that a storyline would be presented to him in 2014 and if all is approved with him, Lucas, and Spielberg, then they will get started. The fact that Marshall said they have an office shows they are serious and I am sure when they got distribution from Paramount sorted out, it was easy to figure out.

i guess hes the parent to his kids while the mother or ex wife is off somewhere else. well he's certainly got it going for him at least

Please don't bring Shia back...

KingPin3787d ago

if they do more CGI, please make it believable. the last one had so bad effects it killed the movie.

I've enjoyed all the indy films.

They are better then alot of the crap churned out these days.

Best film this year though is GRAVITY, by a mile.

As for fun and explosions etc. 2 Guns was decent./.

Harrison Ford is pure class regardless of movie tbh.
