The nominations have been revealed for this year’s British Independent Film Awards (BIFA), set to be handed out next month. A number of films have been nominated, including “Philomena”, “Filth”, and “Under The Skin”, all of which are generating big buzz at the very moment. Although many films, directors, and actors nominated at the BIFA’s might not be as well-recognized as the films nominated at American award shows, there are a couple of names that everybody should be familiar with. The well-known Scarlett Johansson is up for the best actress award for her role in “Under The Skin”, with Tom Hardy being nominated for his performance in “Locke”.
