Blockbuster Closing Remaining U.S. Stores and Ending Mail Distribution

DISH Network Corporation today announced that its subsidiary, Blockbuster L.L.C., will end its retail and by mail DVD distribution operations by early-January 2014. The company will close its approximately 300 remaining U.S.-based retail stores, as well as its distribution centers. (Blockbuster, Industry)

Well this is just kind of sad. Personally, I haven't used a Blockbuster in years, and I get why it's shutting down, but considering how much I used it in my childhood it feels like a big bummer.

I feel you on that man blockbuster was a big part of my childhood I even had there movie and game monthly deal where u pay one fee and rent as many games or movies you want but sadly the digital era killed blockbuster
