ATE writes: "As American Horror Story: Coven continues its reign of mad macabre storytelling, I was hit with a sudden realization about what people find so entertaining about this show. It’s not the storytelling, which at times can be awkward and clumsy. It’s not even the acting, though the acting is a strong point. It’s the fact that episode after episode, AHS continues to be surprising, and in this day and age, that’s really saying something. Not that every surprise is rooted in logic, or that every surprise is even a surprise per se. What I mean is, AHS is one of the only shows that is unpredictable, and tonight’s episode is a crowning example of the random left turns it tends to take."
