When I look around the web, it seems the supposed “threequel curse” is still in effect because fans are drawing battle lines in the sand as I write. Frankly, this burgeoning Marvel Civil War makes the division over The Dark Knight Rises’s release seem like a Kumbaya Circle in comparison. And it’s a real shame, considering Iron Man 3 is probably Marvel’s smartest in-house movie to date.
Now put those pitchforks down for a second and hear me out. I did not say that it was their BEST film. That honor still belongs to either the first Iron Man or The Avengers. But it is in many ways their most daring and interesting. To prove this, we at Den of Geek are going to examine this movie back-to-front. Thus, even though it should go without saying, there are going to be spoilers galore.
The latest "Deadpool & Wolverine" trailer gave us a glimpse at the MCU's golden boys kicking butt and taking names - as well as a whole mess of Easter eggs.
With the new The Crow remake coming soon, we take a look back at the 30-year-old cult classic original–and where the stars are now.
Kaam Chalu Hai Review: Based on true events, this movie is thought-provoking and inspiring
I think a term like "surprising" or "interesting" would be more fitting. I'm a bit annoyed at the Mandarin twist, but understand why they decided to take that route.
However to be "smartest," that Marvel film would need to 'iron out' all of its kinks in regards to plot. IM3 does not accomplish this.
it is not the smartest marvel blockbuster...avengers was a more superior film overall. i do not think this film even is nearly as good as iron man 1.
