The film stars Ryan Reynolds and Jeff Bridges with Kevin Bacon, Stephanie Szostak, Mary-Louise Parker, Marisa Miller, Mike O'Malley, James Hong and Robert Knepper. Matt Manfredi and Phil Hay wrote the script and Robert Schwentke directs. Based on the Dark Horse mini-series, "R.I.P.D." (short for "Rest In Peace Department") is Peter Lenkov's comedic amalgam of the police and zombie genres featuring two dead police officers whose job it is to help the dead "rest in peace."

I had almost forgotten about this one...I can hardly wait...this is just my cup of tea. July isn't that far away and on really hot days there isn't much to do except stay in or go to a movie.
i dont know exactly what this movie is about? but the title looks somewhat self explanatory, i hope this is the film were reynolds bounces back after continuous mediocre movies.
Looks good, I was looking forward to this movie but din't know the cast.
