Planet Ivy: After the barnstorming success of Skyfall, both critical and financial (if $1.1bn isn’t barnstorming then you’ve clearly never stormed a barn), the question on everyone’s lips was ‘How are they going to top that?’ The answer is that they probably won’t; Skyfall was a landmark Bond film and has set the bar very high indeed, however you can be sure that MGM will do everything in its power to make sure they at least nudge the bar, maybe even wobble it a little.

It can be topped, definitely. Some people act like it's the best movie of all time. Lol
I preferred Casino Royale to Skyfall, personally. Eva Green was spectacular, and that movie kept you guessing. Skyfall was a bit more formulaic. I loved Skyfall, don't get me wrong, but I still think Casino Royale is my favorite Bond title of all time.
Skyfall is the second best bond film in my personal opinion but only slightly behind casino royale. this film introduced one of the best villains i have seen in the bond franchise and the scenery is perfect. can skyfall be topped by the next bond film? the answer is yes if they make a stronger plot it is very possible but i dont think it will happen because the standards skyfall left was really high.
