Sticky Shoe Review | Dark Skies

"Dark Skies is a mixed bag. It starts out as a cheesy, jump-scare horror film, and remains that way until about halfway into its run time. It struggles to set a mood at the forefront of the film, but by the time the main conflict is solidifed, it gets seriously creepy. What supports the film throughout its ups and downs is no doubt the seriously talented cast, who, despite the cheesiness of the script, manage to elevate the words and bring heaviness to a scenario that springs from the cheesiest of cliches." (Cinema, Dark Skies) 6/10
