New Line Sets Dan Trachtenberg To Helm ‘Y: The Last Man’

Deadline: New Line Cinema is moving forward with the cult classic Y The Last Man, setting Dan Trachtenberg to direct the film. The helmer, with a commercials background, put himself on the map after generating his own trailer for a faux movie based on the videogame Portal. (Cinema, Dan Trachtenberg, Y: The Last Man)

I think it is cool that this comic will come to life. But I think it would work better as a TV show. Just look at the Walking Dead. That is a great comic that turned into great TV. I just hope if this becomes a movie they have plans for more then just one film. Because there is no way to get everything in the film in just one film.
