In the much anticipated remake of the 1981 cult-hit horror film, five twenty-something friends become holed up in a remote cabin. When they discover a Book of the Dead, they unwittingly summon up dormant demons living in the nearby woods, which possess the youngsters in succession until only one is left intact to fight for survival
Hardly, the original movies will always be the best. To state that a remake is what it was always supposed to be is beyond ridiculous.
I'm in not saying the originals aren't amazing but they're funny, they weren't suppose to be funny. Sam Raimi and Bruce Campbell are the ones who decided to make this remake. They're not doing it for the sake of it, they're doing it so that it can be how it was always suppose to be, a horror film.
Still I like the way this looks. It still kinda feels like the original Evil Dead in a way but also brings it up a notch. It doesn't feel like a cheap cash in which most remakes do. Can't wait to see it.
