Top 10 Movie Trailers of 2012

Collider:
Looking back on 2012, a ridiculous amount of highly anticipated films came out this year and with them came a comparable barrage of quality trailers. Since this year was heavy on the comic book-derived features, you can expect that to be appropriately reflected in this top ten list. Along with those juggernauts you’ve come to know and love over the last year, we’ve also included some trailers that got the blood pumping and the synapses firing in anticipation for 2013. Fair warning: there were so many fan-favorite movies this year that our top ten list is guaranteed to include AND exclude some of your favorites. Hit the jump to check out our top ten movie trailers of 2012. (Culture, Pacific Rim, Prometheus, Star Trek 2 (2012), The Avengers, The Dark Knight Rises)

I love movie trailers. They are an art all to themselves in my mind, especially considering there are plenty of trailers that turn out better than the movie! I think 2012 gave us some bad ass trailers.

When you see a movie, and it turns out horrible, don't you still want to sit in the theater again just to see a trailer lol. I did that with a Spider-Man trailer. I figured the movie was going to suck, but they said a Spider-man trailer was attached and I went haha

i don't know if i've ever watched a film just for the trailer showing before it, but i did go to see Dreamcatcher mainly because they were showing the Animatrix short Final Flight of the Osiris in front of it.

I'm fan of trailers too, mainly as they have to convince the audience in a few minutes that the movie they're about is worth watching. It can really be make or break in that short time. And for me, trailers are a good way of me seeing what i can look forward to watching in the near future.
