25 Movies To Look Forward To In 2013

Matthew Dagen:

2012 is winding down, and the Mayans seemed to have been wrong about the world ending, so that means we're going to get a chance to see all the movies that the next calendar is planning on bringing us. We've narrowed it down to our top 25 movies to look forward to in 2013. Some included on the list are some of the summer blockbusters, but there are plenty of spring, fall and winter movies thrown in there as well. Without further ado check out our list and weigh in below if you feel we've missed one! (Cinema)

Looks like an awesome year for movies. I'd say Iron Man, Thor, Star Trek, The Hobbit and Kick Ass are my top five.

I really hope that The Wolverine is just as good, if not better, than first class. Man of Steel and The Hobbit are defo my ones to watch next year

out of those (because its missing films like hobbit 2/gravity/oblivion etc...

TOP PICKS
1.Elysium (most anticipated-its hard R sci-fi film from district9 director. Plus I have read the script and I gotta see how they pull this off)

2.Man of steel(loved the feel of the trailer, and enjoyed all of Zacks other films including sucker punch)

3.Star trek(loved the previous film and now this one just got better with Benedict)

4.Kick ass 2 (director hasnt given me a bad film yet)

5.Thor 2 (new director could be an issue, but II am hoping it doesnt affect anything)

6.Riddick (I dont care I loved chronicles so cant wait to see this)

Ones I'll wait for opinions
Pacific Rim (I read the script as well, and its just not for me, the trailer also didnt appeal to me. I'm sure teenagers will love this though)

Iron man 2 (new director Im hoping will fix the issues I had with the second film)

Wolvering(could go either way)

world war z (this has had huge problems during production, including fights between actor and director that made them not even speak to one another for a time, and then the trailer came with the rubbish cgi so we'll see).

So far, 2013 looks to be a promising one. Hopefully it won't disappoint like this year.
