The Official Plot Synopsis For Star Trek Into Darkness Is Here, And Is Surprisingly Detailed

Geek Binge: J.J Abrams isn’t exactly the kind of man who gives away plot details willy nilly. Almost every project he’s ever been a part of has hade a veil of secrecy surrounding it, from Super 8 to Cloverfield. And Star Trek Into Darkness is no different. Aside from a one second clip from the film and a pretty annoying back and forth regarding the villain (which just kind of died out after a while when the internet git distracted with other things), we know almost nothing about the sequel to the 2009 Star Trek reboot. Well now that’s changed, as Paramount has released the official plot description for the film. And it’s surprisingly detailed…for a J.J Abrams movie, that is. (Cinema, Star Trek Into Darkness)
