Trailer Breakdown: The Trailer for World War Z Introduces The Stumbling Zombie, With Mixed Results

Geek Binge: The first trailer for Marc Forster’s World War Z debuted online this past Thursday, and the results are, to say the least, conflicting. For one, I’m really digging the I Am Legend vibe going on in certain parts of the trailer. The first half itself sets up a great atmosphere and a really effective sense of panic and dread. It’s the second half of the trailer that makes me think twice about this manifesto of zombie mayhem. (Cinema, World War Z)

I think that trailer was trying to hard. They should have kept it at the pace in the beginning of the trailer.
