Geek Binge: As a gamer, I can totally vouch for how much we love being pandered to, especially when it comes to movies. I (and many, many other gamers) love things like Spaced and Scott Pilgrim for that very reason. So when I first heard about the story behind Wreck It-Ralph, I was both excited and hesitant. Excited because, like I said, I love when movies cater exactly to my own wants and needs. But the reason I was hesitant was because the plot line of video games coming to life when no one is looking felt VERY derivative of one of my favorite film trilogies (hey, I can say that now!), Toy Story. Well first off, I’ll admit, Wreck-It Ralph feels a lot like Toy Story. But that’s not a complaint…on the contrary, it’s a complement. Wreck-It Ralph is Toy Story for the gaming generation. But it’s also so, so much more than that.
With the new The Crow remake coming soon, we take a look back at the 30-year-old cult classic original–and where the stars are now.
Kaam Chalu Hai Review: Based on true events, this movie is thought-provoking and inspiring
Rebel Moon Part 2 Review: This movie doesn't feel anything new or worth remembering, which is a shame.
