Clive Owen as a Philanderer, With a Hint of 'The Sitter'

LA Times:
Sometimes the best movies come out of unexpected collaborations — e.g., Darren Aronofsky directing Mickey Rourke in "The Wrestler" (and getting him an Oscar nomination).

In that spirit, a new Hollywood project we've just heard about seemed worth sharing. Clive Owen, the Oscar and Emmy nominee known for movies like “Closer” and “Children of Men,” will team up with the writers Brian Gatewood and Alessandro Tanaka.

Anon Review | Resident Entertainment

"Amanda Seyfried was a joy to watch and Clive Owen put in some good work. The movie is intriguing and I liked the concepts it introduced about the importance of one’s privacy in the world and what right outsiders have to look into your private life. It’s definitely an interesting science fiction concept to think about, which does ring quite true to a lot of things that happen to us every day in the real world." -Bryan Weatherall (Resident Entertainment)

The Playlist:
If there needs to be any more proof that television has become an auteurist paradise, one need to look no further than Cinemax’s “The Knick.” It marks some of the most electrifying work director Steven Soderbergh, who has helmed all ten episodes, has done in years. It’s bold storytelling, executed with technical virtuosity and creative flair, and it’s simply some of the best storytelling in any medium you’ll see all year. But the show lives or dies on the shoulders of Clive Owen, but not only is he up to the challenge, he delivers the best performance of his career in the series.

I like Clive Owen but I haven't seen this show and I don't really know anything about it. I do appreciate his acting in movies though.
