'Star Trek 2's' Alex Kurtzman, Roberto Orci to Produce 'Dragonology' for Universal

THR Heat Vision:
The duo, who also will write and exec produce the "Amazing Spider-Man" sequel, will hire a new writer to adapt the children's book series in which dragons exist.

The studio picked up the series in 2008, initially setting Leonard Hartman to pen the script. Hartman now will act as an exec producer, while Kurtzman and Orci will oversee the hiring of a new scribe and the writing of a new script. I do like movies from the era of dragons. I have never read these books but I have heard about them...I hope they turn out good.
