As much as I'm intrigued at the idea of a JLA movie, I think I'd much rather see one of Frank Millers Batman Graphic Novels come to life on screen.

i read the article to make sure i could understand it my self but i read second year on here an then third year in the article

Crazay1583d ago

I think they;re referencing the graphic novels/mini story arc.

@DarkBlood

it means it will not be another origin story, he will be new but established as a crime fighter, but more like an urban legend, something like the first Tim Burton Batman movie

@Crazay

no thank you.

Would rather Batman stay in Gotham and not deal with intergalactic aliens. Crossovers are cool and all but it takes away from the character in the long run.

Batman reboot should be farther down the line, does anyone really want more batman now? They risk over saturating the character.

OneAboveAll1583d ago

It's not a crossover. your post is now void.

fr0sty1583d ago

It's still over-saturating the market. Your post is now void.

@OneAboveAll

My comment still stands, with the success the Avengers enjoyed we all know WB will make a Justice Leauge movie with Batman at some point.

OneAboveAll1583d ago

Ha, no it's not kid. I never said it wasn't over saturating the market. So my post still stands. Yours does not as it's not a crossover.

Please try harder.

@OneAboveAll
I think YOU need to re-read my comment....

"My comment still stands, with the success the Avengers enjoyed we all know WB will make a Justice Leauge movie with Batman at some point."

Whether or not man of steel and the batman reboot are in the same universe or not, we ALL know a justice league movie is bound to happen.

"Would rather Batman stay in Gotham and not deal with intergalactic aliens. Crossovers are cool and all but it takes away from the character in the long run. "

Thats were my original comment is addressing.

Please try harder.

Justice League wouldn't be complete without Batman included. I'd definitely watch it for sure.

A new Wonder Woman and Superman in the works plus Green Lantern reboot, Batman's a given so who between Aquaman? or Flash maybe? or both will have their own movie before they get them all together for the Justice League??...

blumatt1582d ago

They can't do them all before the Justice League movie. Would take forever. lol Just the main ones I suppose.

Green Lantern reboot? o_- why?
Is there gonna be one? Did i miss something?

I gotta say, so far no Batman movie was good enough for me. It somehow is different seeing Batsy jump around and work like a detective in the comics, vs seeing a Batman actor on screen, where the costume just doesnt work as exspected to me. Its too bulky and too stiff, while Spidey is really like in the comics. When I remember the cool shapes Batman's cape sometimes had on the covers of the comics, and how acrobatic he was in the comics, there is nothing like that in the movies. In TDKR he looks like a Mortal Kombat warrior, not like the sleek, quick Batman I exspect. Also, the detective side should be way more pronounced, he should have useful goodies and gadgets without becoming a James Bond stand-in. His main weapon is his intelligence and skill of observation.I want Batman to be clever like Hannibal Smith or McGyver.

I'm looking forward to the remake, i'm one of the few who actually did not like the Nolan Batman Trilogy. I just felt he made it too realistic which is not what Batman is supposed to be. It's supposed to be ridiculous and I just feel he took away too much of that element from the franchise.
