Is it 1998? It’s been a long time since film goers have been treated to the unintentional Hollywood double feature like Antz/A Bug’s Life or Deep Impact/Armageddon. 2012 seems to be the year of Snow White with two re-imaginings of the classic children’s tale; Snow White and the Huntsman and March’s Mirror, Mirror. This version stars The Twilight Saga‘s own Kristen Stewart in the title role as “the fairest of them all.”
I’m going to go out on a limb and assume that most people connected to internet have a passing familiarity with Snow White either from the 1937 Walt Disney film or the fabled Grimm fairy tale of the early 19th Century. Snow White and the Huntsman is a ‘re-imagining’ of that story told for a more Twilight-esque audience.
